The DeSoto Suburban is an automobile produced by the Chrysler Corporation and sold under its DeSoto automotive brand from 1946 through the 1954 model year. The Suburban was a continuation of DeSoto's long-wheelbase models, first introduced in 1946. While in production, the Suburban was available under the DeSoto Deluxe, Custom and Powermaster.

The first-year sales in 1929 were record-breaking, with over 81,000 De Soto cars sold, and in 1930 the new De Soto CF, or De Soto Eight, was extremely popular. The company ran several successful publicity stunts to promote the cars, including a 10-day drive across America by racing driver Peter DePalo in 1932 and in 1933 a backwards drive.
